Uitenhage police want the public’s help in solving a cold-blooded homicide.
This relates to the murder of a 30-year-old man on Monday night who was shot to death in Kwanobuhle.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says the un-named victim was standing in Mandla Road when he was approached by a group of men driving a white VW Golf.
“Two of the occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle and allegedly fired several shots, fatally wounding the 30-year-old male,” she said.
Swart said Kwanobuhle detectives are appealing for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in the murder.
“The name of the victim will be released once the formal identification was completed.”
She said the motive for the murder is not known at this stage.
