Police in Kwadwesi, in conjunction with the Uitenhage K9 unit, have confiscated 17 bags of dagga weighing 350 kg and with a street value of R700-thousand.
Captain Andre Beetge says they followed up on information and swooped on a house in Joe Slovo at around 4.30 on Wednesday morning.
They arrested a 53 year-old woman and confiscated 6 bags of dagga.
Subsequent investigations led to the recovery of another 11 bags of dagga at a shack in Missionvale behind Vista University.
Beetge said the woman was in custody and will appear in court soon.
