A Uitenhage couple will appear in court on Thursday in connection with the murder of a man on Sunday night.
Police spokesperson, lieutenant-colonel Priscilla Naidu, says they also allegedly robbed the 59 year old man of his takkies and cellphone.
It's alleged that the victim and the woman were in a car in an open field when she left to fetch her boyfriend.
When they returned the victim was allegedly stabbed three times and died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the killing remain the subject of an ongoing police investigation.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
