Port Elizabeth police are investigating two separate gang-related shootings in the city's northern suburbs this weekend.
Spokesperson, Capt. Johan Rheeder says in the first incident in Bethelsdorp on Saturday evening, two shots were fired at a 26-year-old man. One of the shots hit him in the leg, and he is in a stable condition in hospital.
In the second ion Saturday, a 29-year-old man was shot and wounded in Gelvendale.
Rheeder says a number of spent cartridges were found at the scene.
No one has been arrested, and police are investigating charges of attempted murder.
