Two teens killed in latest incident of PE gang violence

Two teenagers from Helenvale were shot and killed in the latest incident of gang related violence.

Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the incident happened between Kobus and Voicen street.

Two men started shooting at 18 year old Trevino Kathan who later died in hospital from his injuries,

A 13 year old girl who was walking in the street during the incident also got caught in the crossfire. She was hit in the side and also died in hospital.

A third person had a flesh wound after a bullet scraped through the back of his head.

Labans says 15 shots were fired and an arrest will be made soon
