An extensive search was underway at Eastern Beach in East London on Sunday, after two teenagers went missing in the surf.
NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon says a third teenager was rescued by surfers in the area.
"Three male teenagers believed to be from Middelburg on a school tour, aged approximately 18, were reportedly in difficulty in the surf". he said.
Lambinon said one teenager was rescued by surfers, but two teenagers remained missing.
"Despite an extensive sea and shoreline search, there remains no sign of the two boys. Police divers and police K-9 search and rescue are continuing in an on-going search", he said.
