A 22-year-old Port Elizabeth man has been shot and killed in a suspected gang related shooting outside his house in Kamma Street in Schauderville.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, identified the victim as Eldine Kampher, also known as Malinga.
He says it appears that Kampher had been chased back to his house from somewhere else in the neighbourhood on Sunday night and was shot four times in the kneck, chest and arms.
He died at the scene.
Labans says the suspect is known and an arrest is imminent.
Meanwhile a 33-year-old In another suspected gang related shooting in Bethelsdorp last night, a 33 year-old man was shot in the ankle while he and a friend were off-loading cooler boxers.
He says the lone-shooter pulled off five shots before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is also known to police who expect to make an arrest very soon.
