Two seriously injured in Eastern Cape plane crash

A father and his son were seriously injured in a plane crash near Alicedale in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.

Netcare 911's Santi Steinmann says the light aircraft crashed in a field.

She says both men were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.

Steinmann says the cause of the accident is still unclear and is being investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority.
