Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a taxi and a truck in Markman, Port Elizabeth on Tuesday afternoon.
Police captain André Beetge said both victims were from the taxi, while the truck driver escaped unharmed.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Meanwhile, police have released the name of the man who died in an accident between a Hyuandai bakkie, transporting school children and a Toyota Hilux in Harrower road in Port Elizabeth on Monday.
Warrant Officer Alwyn Labans said he was 69-year old Jongin-fundo Baleka, the driver of the Hilux.
He said of the 19 children who were injured in the accident, all, except an 8-year old, had been discharged from hospital.
