A child was injured earlier on Thursday when a large tree fell over in CJ Langenhoven Street in George, causing a motor vehicle accident.
ER24 reports that a vehicle collided with a piece of tree-trunk - which went straight through the front windscreen.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene they discovered 2 patients, one being a child.
The adult patient and the child had moderate injuries and was rushed to the Mediclinic in George for further treatment.
