Two Port Elizabeth men have been gunned down in the latest gang shooting reported by the police.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said 27-yeaer-old Hillerion Jacobs and Dane Oosthuizen, were killed when gunmen in a car pulled up next them on the corner of Gail Road and Standford Road on Thursday night.
"It is alleged that Jacobs and Oostehuizen were driving home when an unknown vehicle pulled up next to them at the intersection. The occupants of the car opened fire on them," Naidu said.
She said Jacobs and Oosthuizen, who she said were members of the Upstand Dogs gang, sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Naidu said the Provincial Gang Investigation Unit will be investigating the two cases.
