Port Elizabeth police have reported a second home invasion in 24 hours.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says two men broke into the home of an elderly woman in Glen Hurd Thursday night.
She says the 75-year-old woman was not hurt during the house-robbery in which the men fled with a Kruger Rand, cash and the victims car.
Janse Van Rensburg says the suspects gained entry to the woman's home by removing a window frame which was found at the back of the house.
She says the same modus-operandi was used to gain entry to a townhouse in Lorraine in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Three suspects accosted a 65-year-old man who was watching television, tied him up and ransacked his house before fleeing in his car.
Janse Van Rensburg says the man was not harmed but was in a state of shock.
She says his car was found yesterday in Kwazakhele.
