Two new Post Offices for PE to provide licensing services

The Eastern Cape Transport Department has announced that two more post offices in Nelson Mandela Bay will be providing full licensing services.

These are Gelvandale and Newton Park post offices.
Previously motorists and dealers could only license their vehicles at North End and the main post office in Govan Mbeki Avenue.

Eastern Cape Transport MEC, Thandiswa Marawu, said on Tuesday night that they are investigating the possibility that full licensing services will be available at all post offices in the near future.

Her spokesperson, Ncedo Kumbaca.

"These two new Post Office sites are going to be doing full registration focusing on assisting the automotive industry in Nelson Mandela Bay so as a department we are trying to make sure the we help the industry with all the entire registration process of their vehicles, especially manufacturers, dealers and importers and builders as well" Kumbaca said
