Two men are expected to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrates Court today after they stole a plasma TV from a house in Jeffreys Bay.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli says a neighbour raised the alarm when he saw two men in a silver Chevrolet Aveo on the homeowner's premises in Silver Tree road.
He says a description of the vehicle was conveyed to the control room of a private security company who also called police for assistance.
Sergeant Nkohli says they spotted the vehicle speeding on the N2 and followed them in hot pursuit.
He says the car stalled near Thornhill and the suspects made a run for it.
The two aged 25 and 34 were arrested and will be charged with housebreaking and theft.
