Port Elizabeth police have arrested two more suspects, following an armed robbery at Fishers Jewellery store in the Greenacres shopping centre.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Marinda Mills, says the two were arrested in a blue Volkswagen Polo in the parking area of the shopping centre on Thursday afternoon.
On Thursday morning, a policeman came under fire from a gang of seven men who robbed the jewellery store.
The policeman was wounded in the ankle, but managed to return fire, wounding one of the robbers in the left hip.
The wounded man dropped a bag containing jewellery.
Mills says three suspects have been arrested so far, and four men are still at large.
