Gqeberha police are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed two men in unit 12 in Motherwell on Wednesday.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said members from SAPS Motherwell police responded to a report of a shooting on the corner of Tyinira Street and 1st Xhama Streets at around 15:10.
She said when police arrived on the scene they found a bullet-riddled VW Polo, with the bodies of two male occupants inside.
“At this stage, the motive for the attack remains unknown, and no arrests have been made.
“The Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Investigation Unit is pursuing all leads to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” Janse Van Rensburg said.
She said police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer John Lourens, at 071 352 4706, or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
