Uitenhage police are searching for the gunmen who killed two men walking in a street in Kwanobuhle.
Police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, says the victims were walking in Ngcwabe Street at about lunch-time on Monday when shots were fired.
She said one man was fatally wounded while the second died later in hospital.
Swart identified the victims as 18-year-old Mthunzi Haas and 33-year-old Bongani Makiva.
She says the motive is unknown at this stage.
