Two women were killed following an accident on Friday morning on the N6 between Jamestown and Queenstown.
A spokesperson for the Provincial Transport Department Kuselwa Rantjie says the SUV, with one man and three women on board, was travelling from Jamestown.
She says investigators are still trying to piece together the circumstances that might have led to the crash but says both rear wheels had burst.
She says a man and woman were critically injured.
Rantjie says they are not sure at this stage who the driver was since the bodies were lying all over the road.
The two victims were Lesotho Nationals.
