Two killed in accident near East London

Two people burnt to death in an accident that occured on the N2 between Komga and East London on Friday morning.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Hazel Mqala, says police arrived at the scene to find both vehicles on fire.

She says that a man driving the Ford vehicle, sustained burn wounds and was taken to St Dominics Hospital.

The cause of the accident is being investigated and a culpable homicide docket has been opened.
