Two people have been killed in an accident on the N-2 near Gonubie in East London.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaea, says the driver lost control of the vehicle which overturned.
He says five other people were injured, two of them seriously.
Meanwhile, three people were seriously injured in a collision between a bakkie, a car and a bus on the M-17 in Port Elizabeth.
A police spokesperson said all the injured passengers were in the car.
The drivers of the bus and bakkie were not injured.
