Two brothers from Pacaltsdorp in George have been arrested for the murder of a 26-year-old man in July.
Daywin Jonas went missing after he left his Conville home to meet a prospective buyer for this car on 26 July.
In a message to his girlfriend, he told her that he was on his way to meet a buyer on the outskirts of Pacaltsdorp.
Jonas' charred body was found next to the N9 near Uniondale the next day and was identified through DNA tests last week.
Two brothers from Pacaltsdorp, 30-year-old Jhrlique Okers and 25-year-old Marciano Danster were arrested in connection with the murder after vehicle parts and a phone were found at a house in the area.
The suspects have since abandoned their bid for bail and will appear in the George Magistrate's court later this month on charges of murder, fraud, and being in possession of suspected stolen goods.
Jonas will be buried on Saturday.
