Cradock police have arrested a 26 year old suspect for the murder of a 19 year old boy.
Capt Stefanie Smith says it is alleged that the suspect and the deceased had an argument over the dog of the deceased when the suspect allegedly stabbed the teenager with a knife in the neck.
She says he died at the scene.
The suspect handed himself over to police and will appear in court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, an 18-year old suspect was arrested on the farm Beestekraal in the Tarkastad area on Saturday evening, after he stabbed a 29-year old to death during an argument over a woman.
Capt. Smith says both were intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The suspect will appear in court soon on a murder charge.
