Mthatha police have arrested two suspects involved in an alleged stock theft incident.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Msukisi Fatyela says the two men aged 31 and 39 have also been charged with illegal possession of firearms.
Fatyela says the suspects were found in possession of 10 cows in Ngqeleni near Mthatha.
The suspects remain in custody and will appear in court on Thursday.
Meanwhile four men have been jailed for an effective 79 years by the Mdantsane magistrates court.
East London Police Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku says the sentences followed a spate of armed robberies and theft out of motor vehicle near the Mdantsane train station in July 2011.
Magistrate Eugene Moss sentenced Yonela Thebe to 25-years, Phila Ndima to 15 years, Athenkosi Jack to 24 years and Sinalo Masala to 15 years direct imprisonment.
