Two arrested for murder of elderly George resident

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of elderly George resident, Isabella Kruger, whose body was found in a bathtub filled with water in her home on Saturday.

The 77 year old's body was found by her daughter in the Kraaibosch Country Estate.

Police spokesperson, Capt. Malcolm Pojie says it is unclear how Kruger's attackers gained access to her home in Montagupass Street.

Kruger's silver Honda Jazz was later found deserted on the Saasveld Road.

Police started following up on leads and found her belonings in the possession of the two suspects.

Pojie said more arrests might follow.
