Two suspects are in police custody following their arrest for a home invasion at a complex in Kamma Heights in Gqeberha earlier this week.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says in the early hours of Wednesday morning the complainant woke up after hearing a noise inside his house.
She says there was a suspect in his room who warned him and his girlfriend to keep quiet.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says approximately six more suspects entered the house in Montmedy Road before the couple was tied up and the house ransacked.
The men demanded phones and cash and stole perfume and jewellery as well.
Police made the first arrest in Kwazakhele on Thursday and a second arrest in the Walmer location on Saturday.
Both suspects are being detained for house robbery and are expected to appear in court this week.
SAPS recovered the stolen phones, two Ipads and jewellery.
