Two appear in Somerset East court for weekend murders

Two suspects will be appearing in the Somerset East magistrate's court on Monday on charges of murder.

In the first incident, a 24 year old man is being charged with the murder of a 63 year-old man from Mememse Street.

Police say a fight broke out between the deceased and his wife over a domestic issue.
The suspect intervened and assaulted his 63 years old stepfather who died at the scene.

In the second incident, a suspect was arrested after a 25 year-old man was stabbed to death in a fight over a bottle of sherry.
