Police in Motherwell in Gqeberha are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after a truck, its trailer and a tractor were torched.
Spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, says the vehicle was driving in Addo road near NU29 Motherwell when the incident occurred at about 6 pm on Monday.
She says the damages are estimated to be more the R500 000.
Swart says no arrests have been made as yet.
It is not known whether the incident was related to service delivery protests in the area early on Monday morning.
