Two men who were found guilty of the murder of Thornycroft Lodge owner Elza Remant-Eyland in February last year were jailed in the East London Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Judge John Smith sentenced former employee Jannie Fagans (38) to life in imprisonment for murder and 15 years for robbery.
His co-accused, Pumlani Mabaso, (36) was sentenced to 20 years for murder and 12 years for robbery.
A third accused, 38-year-old Bhekathina Msomi, who was found guilty of being in possession of the deceased's stolen property, was sentenced to eight years in jail.
Remant-Eyland (67) was reportedly last seen on 16 February 2018 driving her Toyota bakkie, which was later found in Kwazulu Natal. Her decomposed body was found by police four days later in bushes near her guesthouse.
The three were arrested in March last year and charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
