Tributes are pouring in for a well-known local businessman Braam Kritzinger who died in a boating accident n Cape St Francis on Tuesday.
Kritzinger was a retired military sergeant and former owner of Braams Toyota in Joubertina.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) launched an extensive search for Kritzinger after his catamaran fishing craft washed onto the rocks at Shark Point.
Spokesperson Craig Lambinon says several role players joined in the search and the body was eventually spotted and recovered in the surf close to the rocks.
He says Kritzinger was a regular fisherman.
The Council of Military Veterans Organizations took to Facebook to pay tribute to Kritzinger whom they described as a true gentleman and man of the highest morals and principles.
