Presentencing argument is underway in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court where 39-year-old Bulelani Mabhayi also pleaded guilty to six counts of rape and 10 of house-breaking with intent to commit a crime.
Mabhayi was responsible for a reign of terror in Tholeni Village near Butterworth dating back to 2008. His victims included women and children.
The National Prosecuting Authority also hinted that it too may call witnesses to testify about the impact that Mabhayi's reign of terror had on the Tholeni community.
