Three children have been killed and another is fighting for her life after they were hit by a minibus taxi, whilst on their way to school.
The accident happened in Newlands West in Kwazulu Natal, near the V N Naik school for the deaf.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says a fourth learner was critically injured.
The taxi crashed into the group of teenage girls who were on their way to school.
The victims were dragged for several meters.
Parents rushed to the scene this morning where emotional scenes unfolded.
