Three people were killed and three others sustained serious injuries when their mini-bus taxi overturned on the N-9 between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg in the Eastern Cape.
The Provincial Transport Department said the accident happened in Naude's Neck Pass on Thursday.
Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose, said it's alleged that the driver lost control of the vehicle which then overturned.
He said the injured passengers were rushed to the Midlands hospital.
