Police in Port Elizabeth are seeking the community's assistance in tracing the next of kin of three murder victims whose bodies were discovered in separate incidents at the weekend.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the body of a man, believed to be between 20 and 30-years-old was found lying on his back in Kohler Road in Perseverance just before 6 am on Sunday.
He sustained multiple injuries to his head and was wearing blue jeans and a blue striped t-shirt.
Two hours later, members discovered the body of a man approximately 30-years-old, in an open veld in Ciko Street in NU5 Motherwell.
Naidu says he sustained multiple injuries to his body and they suspect he might have been dumped there.
He was wearing a grey T-shirt with black jeans.
Meanwhile, in the third incident at about 9 pm on Sunday, police responded to a shooting at the corners of Dana and Mali Street in Kwanobuhle where the body of a man who sustained a gunshot wound to his neck was found.
Naidu says he is believed to be in his late 20's and was well dressed, wearing white Nike takkies, dark jeans, a Relay cap, and a black and red jacket. His cell phone was still in his possession
She says the murders are not related.
