Three men remain in custody for retired teacher's murder

Three of the four people taken in for questioning on Tuesday in connection with the murder of an elderly Pacaltsdorp woman, will remain in custody.
Police Spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie says they have not been charged yet for the murder of 70-year old Audrey Fivaz.
Pojie says a fourth person, a 24-year-old woman has been released as she could not be linked to the murder. He says preliminary autopsy results suggest that the deceased might have died due to suffocation, after the suspects inserted a piece of cloth in her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
She also had visible injuries to her head and neck.Pojie says they will also investigate the possibility that Fivaz was raped.Fivaz was a retired teacher who lived alone.The investigation continues.
