Three killed on EC roads


Three people were killed in two separate accidents on Eastern Cape roads on Saturday.

Spokesperson for Provincial traffic Charles Bramwell says at approximately 6pm a Minibus taxi collided head on with a Toyota Tazz.

The accident happened along the N2 netween Tamara and King Williams Town.

Two of the six passengers in the Tazz were killed and the others slightly injured.

Bramwell says nobody was killed in the minibus taxi but all 22 passengers were treated for slight injuries.

In the second accident one person was killed and one seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the R334 near the Industrial area of Coega.
