Three people were killed in an accident between a passenger bus and a car on the N2 near Humansdorp on Friday.
The Eastern Cape Transport Department says a Translux bus collided head-on with a BMW.
Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says all three occupants in the BMW, a woman and two men, died at the scene.
He says nobody on the bus sustained injuries.
Binqose says eyewitnesses alleged that reckless and negligent driving was the main contributing factor to the accident.
Humansdorp police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
