Three people were killed, and four others were injured in an accident on the N2 at Norwood in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape on Saturday morning.
The Provincial Department of Transport says a bakkie with seven occupants overturned.
Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says three men, including the driver, were declared dead at the scene.
He says four other men were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
Binqose says it is believed that the men were on their way to work when the accident happened.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
