A year long combined investigation by police in Grahamstown, Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay has led to the arrest of three people for dealing in drugs.
A 28 year old man, Shaun O'Neil, appeared in court in Port Elizabeth today while 38-year old Eugene du Plessis and 25-year-old Courtney Roux, appeared in court in Humansdorp.
O'Neil was granted bail of R1000 while Du Plessis and Roux were released on bail of R2000 each.
Police spokesperson, captain Milanda Coetzer, says they were arrested in Port Elizabeth on Monday and found to be in posession of a variety of drugs worth R117 000.
She says the haul included dagga, hashish, magic mushrooms and LSD-soaked jelly tot sweets which were allegedly sold for R100 each.
They will appear in court again next month.
