The state has added nearly a dozen more charges of murder against the man accused of a reign of terror against women and children in Tholeni Village near Butterworth.
Thirty-nine-year-old Bulelani Mabhayi made another court appearance in the Butterworth magistrate's court on Friday.
He already faces 22 counts of murder, attempted murder, rape and housebreaking in connection with cases going back to 2007.
He was arrested last month after initially being taken in for questioning for the murder of 55-year-old Boniswa Lubambo.
Mabhayi's case has now been transferred to the High Court.
