As many as 30 learners were attacked by a swarm of bees at the Gerrit Maritz High School in Pretoria earlier on Friday.
Netcare 911 says its Paramedics arrived at the scene to find that some of the patients had already been rushed to hospital by private transport.
Fifteen children that had been stung were still at the school, with conditions ranging from minor to serious.
They were treated on the scene before being transferred to hospital for further treatment.
Its not yet clear what caused the swarm to attack.
