Port Elizabeth police have confirmed that a third teenager has been arrested in connection with Monday's shooting and hijacking of a local woman, 53-year-old Magda van Vuuren.
Police said a youth was arrested overnight in Zwide where police also recovered a firearm.
Meanwhile, two teens arrested yesterday in connection with the case are also due to appear at Justice Nerina House Court on Tuesday.
Police arrested a 16-year-old schoolboy and a 15-year-old schoolgirl at a petrol station in Bluewater Bay where Van Vuuren's hijacked BMW was spotted.
She died in hospital after being shot in the back when confronted by a gun-toting youth in Adcockvale.
