A 36-year-old Port Elizabeth businessman is in a serious condition in hospital after being shot several times.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, said a lone gunman wearing a "black hoodie" and red track pants entered the man's Durban Road business late Friday afternoon and opened fire.
He said "Imraan Shaik" of Malabar was hit at least seven times.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
The attack on Shaik was the third shooting of PE businessmen this past week.
On Monday 38-year-old Rajen Naidoo was shot dead in Burt Drive by two men while on Wednesday, V&R Auto owner, Raven Rungan, was shot and wounded by a lone gunman in Kamma Ridge.
No arrests were made yet in all three cases.
Meanwhile, Labans said two people were wounded when shots were fired at a car at the intersection of Beetlestone and Standford Road in Gelvandale.
One person in the car was not hit in the incident which occurred at around 2am Saturday.
Labans said the motive for this shooting is also unknown.
