Ten people were injured -- three of them critically -- when a light delivery van hit a bus on the N2 near Knysna on Sunday
morning, said Western Cape emergency management services.
Spokesperson, Keri Davids, said the van hit a City-to-City bus travelling towards Port Elizabeth with 58 people on board at
2.23am.
She says rescuers had to extricate a Knysna couple from the van. They were critically injured, as was the bus driver.
Four women and a man in the bus were seriously injured and two passengers, a man and a child, sustained minor injuries.
The injured were taken to the Knysna provincial hospital and to a private medical facility in Knysna, said Davids.
