Teenager murdered at Elliotdale - suspect still at large

Eastern Cape police are searching for a suspect, following the murder of an 18-year old woman at Elliotdale.

Provincial police commissioner spokesperson, Brig. Tembinkosi Kinana says the incident happened when the two visited their grandmother in Nkanya village on Christmas Day.

According to police information, the suspect was seen with bloodstains on his clothes by a neighbour, who alerted the community.

Kinana says the suspect fled to a forest, and is still at large.

The motive for the murder is unknown, and anyone with information, can contact the police.
