Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a teenager was found in Bethelsdorp in the city's northern areas on Friday evening.
Spokesperson, Col Pricilla Naidu says police responded to a shooting incident in Barberry Drive after 11 pm, and on arrival, a 17-year old was found lying in the backyard of a house in Mistletoe Road.
She says Michael Goeda sustained two gunshot wounds to the head.
Naidu says the incident is gang-related and no arrests have yet been made.
Meanwhile, a 37-year-old man was shot and wounded while playing games in a garage in Mellow Street, Bethelsdorp at the weekend, when unknown suspects fired shots into the garage.
The garage is used as a game centre.
Col Naidu says the victim was shot in the stomach.
She says the suspects are unknown and motive for the attack is yet to be established.
The Provincial Gang Unit is investigating a case of attempted murder.
