Police in Humansdorp are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after two teenagers were chased and shot on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the two victims were seen running away from a group of men between Besembos and Pendoring Street in Gill Marcus when both were shot.
She says 17-year-old Juvandre September died on the scene while a 12-year-old sustained a gunshot wound in his thigh.
Colonel Naidu says the injured boy was taken to a hospital in Gqeberha.
