Port Elizabeth detectives are on a manhunt for two suspects who killed a young mother in her house in Timothy Valley on Sunday.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 19-year-old Jasmine Fillis was sleeping with her four-month-old baby at her house in France street when two men forced open the kitchen door, shortly before midnight.
She says one man held her parents at gunpoint while the other went into Fillis' room to kill her.
The baby was unharmed.
Colonel Naidu says the motive for this murder is not known and nor are the suspects.
Any person with information is asked to come forward.
