Teen found in shallow grave in Kamesh- boyfriend hands himself over

A 19-year-old man from Kamesh handed himself over to police on Wednesday night for the murder of his 16-year-old girlfriend.

Captain Andre Beetge says the suspect led police to a shallow grave at his home in Bauhinia Crescent where her remains were found.

He says the victim, whose name is known to Algoa FM News, was last seen on the 11th of this month and was reported missing a week later by her parents.

Beetge says the suspect is due to appear in the Uitenhage Magistrates Court on Friday on a charge of murder.
