One of the men who was shot at the Strand Street taxi rank in Port Elizabeth Tuesday afternoon, has died.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stanley Jarvis, says 50-year-old Vusunzi Mahlabane of Motherwell died in hospital.
A 57-year old man who was with him at the time, is still in a serious condition in hospital.
The men were sitting on a bench at the taxi rank when two men jumped out of a bakkie and opened fire.
Jarvis says the motive for the shooting is not known.
