King Williams Town Flying Squad, the K9 Unit and East London Tactical Response Team members have arrested three men and a woman following a business robbery in Oxford Street in East London.
Captain Siphokazi Mawisa says the suspects aged between 22 and 49 are all from Port Elizabeth.
Mawisa says the suspects fled the scene of Monday's robbery in a white Polo Vivo and headed in the direction of King William's Town.
Police gave chase and were able to stop the vehicle on Alexander Road.
On searching the vehicle, police found and seized two firearms with their serial numbers field off as well as several rounds of ammunition. Four cellphones were also recovered.
It was later established that the vehicle had been hijacked in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth.
Captain Mawisa said the suspects were being held in custody and were due to appear in the King William's Town Magistrate's Court on Wednesday on charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition and possession of a stolen vehicle.
